OUR GOALS
1. To preserve the role in history played by the 485th Bomb
Group in winning World War II.
2. To provide a place where information about the 485th BG and
its members is available and can be accessed by relatives and
friends of the veterans.
3. To provide accurate first hand accounts of the veterans’
experiences.
4. To provide e-mail access to the 485th Historian for information
about the history of the 485th Bomb Group and current information
about the 485th Bomb Group Association.

We depend on Veterans, spouses and family members to help us preserve
the history of the 485th Bomb Group. We are particularly interested in
obtaining the following items:
● Diaries
● Journals
● Flight Logs
● Letters
● Stories of Veterans
We would also like to have copies of photos of aircraft, air crews and
other personnel who served in the group. If you have information to share,
please contact our historian, Jerry Whiting at

answer all inquiries about the 485th Bomb Group.
